The year 2024 has been, and continues to be, a period of significant achievements for PortAventura Business & Events. Not only for the challenges overcome and the innovative technological proposals, but also for the awards obtained at several of the sector’s most prestigious events.
These awards reward the efforts of companies specialising in event organisation, promoting professionalism and quality in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) industry.
This prestigious recognition took place at a ceremony held in Ho Chi Minh City, celebrating excellence in MICE tourism. This award reaffirms PortAventura Business & Events‘ position as one of the leading convention centres not only in Spain, but also internationally. This award motivates the team to continue creating unforgettable experiences for its clients.
At the ceremony, held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, more than 900 industry professionals gathered to recognise the best companies in the events and meetings industry. The awards, organised by Northstar Meetings Group, are particularly prestigious given that the winners are selected by professionals in the British MICE sector. This recognition reinforces PortAventura Business & Events‘ commitment to excellence and its dedication to offering the best event experiences on an international scale.
In its 19th edition, these awards received more than 266 applications, consolidating their position as a benchmark in the national events and meetings sector. These awards highlight talent, professionalism, and good practices in the industry. At the gala held on 17 September in Madrid, silver was awarded in the Best Venue category, a recognition that celebrates the team’s efforts to offer innovative and high-quality venues, as well as its commitment to sustainability.
