PortAventura Business & Events hosted the corporate event organised by TA Spain for B&B HOTELS, a company that is growing and consolidating its position within the hotel sector. For three days, the Convention Centre welcomed 1,200 guests in an event that featured plenary sessions, breakouts, excitement, and some special touches.
B&B HOTELS has based its success on offering clients comfortable hotels with a welcoming design and excellent value for money. This model has allowed the company to triple its growth in the last ten years, with more than 850 hotels in 17 countries. Since 2019, the group has been majority-owned by the investment company Goldman Sachs, which has accelerated its expansion by opening more hotels than any other chain between 2019 and 2022. .
The event was designed to offer a productive, yet inspiring environment for guests. Plenary sessions were held in the Alexandria rooms, which can accommodate more than 3,100 people.
Breakouts also took place in various rooms across the PortAventura Convention Centre, including the Alexandria, Barcino, and Damascus rooms. These rooms, with state-of-the-art technology and natural light, provided an ideal environment for meetings in smaller groups. In addition, the adjoining terraces, with spectacular views, allowed attendees to enjoy moments of relaxation and networking in the fresh air.
The range of fine dining options also played a crucial role in the event. A finger buffet lunch was served in the Roma room, an ample space with capacity for more than 2,000 people.
There was so much more to the event than just formal meetings. Guests also enjoyed exciting experiences designed to foster team bonding. One of the highlights was the exclusive opening of the Far West and Mediterrània areas, which included an open-air cocktail party, a show with 300 drones, and performances by the bands Glow and Bandarra. These experiences reinforced the brand values of B&B HOTELS, highlighting its dynamism and innovative spirit.
Surrounded by gardens, the hotel also features a beautiful lake and a varied gastronomic offer, providing attendees with an ideal setting in which to relax. In addition, direct walking access to the PortAventura Convention Centre made it easier to get around, creating a seamless experience for all guests.
