On 22 February, the backdrop for this first edition of the AEVEA AWARDS, hosted by celebrities such as Elena Sánchez and actress Marta Hazas, was the Gran Teatro CaixaBank Príncipe Pío in Madrid. There were also incredible performances from Fran Perea, Víctor Elías, Marilia, and Clara Alvarado. Figures such as Pablo Carbonell, Juanma Ortega, Carlos Latre, Ion Aramendi and Igor Gómez, among others, were also present at this first edition.
The AEVEA AWARDS, held for the first time ever this year, seek to recognise and promote excellence and best practices in the organisation of events held in Spain during the year 2023.
Prizes were awarded in a total of 12 categories, which included: Creativity, Design, ESG Experience, Low-Cost Experience, Return and Effectiveness, Presence at a Fair or Congress, Sports Event, Cultural Event, Up-and-Coming Young People, Experiential Strategy, Brand Trajectory, and Project of the Year. In addition, the Honour Award was presented to Asun Santiago, co-founder of the MacGuffin agency and a pioneering figure in the events sector in Spain.
The judging panel, made up of 23 renowned experts in the fields of communications, marketing and events, highlighted the exceptional quality of the works presented, with 145 projects submitted for this first edition.
Winners at the AEVEA AWARDS 2024 include Mediapro Events for Best Project of the Year for their client The Latin Recording Academy, Somos Experiences for Best Presence at a Fair or Convention for its client Telefónica, beon.Worldwide in the category Best Low-Cost Experience, Grow Comunicación for Best Creative Concept, MKTG Spain for Best ESG Experience, and RPM Sports and MKTG Spain for Best Sporting Event with the Titan World Series.
