PortAventura Convention Centre has expanded its facilities by 6,000 m2 and covers a total surface area of 20,000 m2 with this addition. The building, which blends into the surrounding landscape, features a room, called “Roma”, that can be divided into three sections. It covers 2,000 m2 in total and has the capacity to accommodate more than 2,000 people. This space boasts natural light, a feature shared by all the rooms and common spaces at the Convention Centre.
The building has been integrated into the Mediterranean setting that provides the backdrop to the Convention Centre, and the layout was designed with special attention paid to aspects such as sustainability and respect for the environment.
